Have to laugh at myself because the thought did cross my
mind before it happened. She wanted to help me dig so bad,
so I let her borrow my fork. The blades slipped and caught
me right in the forehead since I had decided to dig next to
her. Probably a good thing she didn't have the shovel!
Seeing how I am pretty hard headed,it didn't do much except
make me a bit more dazed than usual. Megan was pretty
scared though. Good thing it is a very, very old fork and
not sharp at all. I'm pretty sure it belonged to my
grandfather, the one who grew those irises so many years
ago that got me hooked.
