Have to laugh at myself because the thought did cross my 
mind before it happened.  She wanted to help me dig so bad, 
so I let her borrow my fork.  The blades slipped and caught 
me right in the forehead since I had decided to dig next to 
her.  Probably a good thing she didn't have the shovel!

Seeing how I am pretty hard headed,it didn't do much except 
make me a bit more dazed than usual.  Megan was pretty 
scared though.  Good thing it is a very, very old fork and 
not sharp at all.  I'm pretty sure it belonged to my 
grandfather, the one who grew those irises so many years 
ago that got me hooked.
