BT, a bacteria, works real well on tomato hornworms and is not toxic to
beneficials or humans.

BlankHi,
This spring I found a really ugly caterpillar having a snack on one of my
Iris
buds. Killed that sucker right quick.
Just found a older model on my tomatoes. A Horned Tomatoes Caterpillar.
Found
a second one. Killed one and hauled the other over to the Hardware store
for
a insecticide. Sort of an iridescent green with a large red horn on the
tail.
Has light almost white stripes from the head on an angle toward the back.
