The constant heat and humidity has really been depressing.  Cheered me
considerably to finally be able to knock the weeds back a little and
even more to see those determined little rebloomers.

Did you find any rebloom out amongst the weeds?

Last year, I invested in a fairly expensive, small, self-propelled mower
with wheels that adjust really high - necessary with all the rocks
hidden in the grass.  Wonderful machine.

Contemplating all those hundreds of spring (outdoor) germinated
seedlings that didn't make it into the ground.  Finally starting to seem
like I <might> be able to plant some of them one of these days.

<Same here. I finally got to mow. Took me all day as  my grass was
soooooo
                        tall. Still need to til & plant. So far have
only  potted iris have not put
                        them in the ground. Too hot, too dry, etc.
