Re: HUMOR: fan, fancier, fanatic

Fan - while out enjoying iris bloom in the garden, you realize your phone bill is due, so you go inside and pay it.
Fancier - you know your phone bill is overdue, but don't want to take time away from the iris planting, note taking, seedling planting, and pollen daubing to dig thru all the mail to find it and pay it, so accept the overdue charge and pay it the next month.
Fanatic - your phone is disconnected and you hire three people for two days to straighten up the mess you've made during iris season (which extends from March until June <g>) so you can find the phone bills and overdue notices to figure out how much it's going to cost to reconnect the phone and make sure there isn't anything else important you've overlooked. 

I'll let you wonder whether or not that's actually happened to anybody...<g>
