That's sort of what I was thinking. You'd need 10 acres to grow 70,000
iris.
That allows 3 acres every yr. for rotation. and leaves 7 to grow ones' 70
000 iris, if on avg you need an acre to grow a nice clump of each.
When you think of it, that's not much land.
Watching the yacht show, at this moment, and some of these boat are this big
Maybe that's what one should do
-create a traveling iris boat. That way, pick up and go if weather is bad.
I bet Betty would go far it.
Just picturing it. HA!!!!!

One might point out that big time Iris growers rotate
their iris crop to prevent disease. So perhaps a third
of the acre should be reserved for an alternate crop.
i believe Schreiners and Cooleys use onions.
