Thanks for the clarification, Chuck.
I remember your asking me to do water extraction on a HARVEST OF
MEMORIES X SEAKIST seedling to see it there was water soluble yellow.
hmm.. so maybe those yellow seedlings from HARVEST OF MEMORIES X
TREASURED that have no anthocyanins showing anywhere have water soluble
yellow blocking the anthocyanin production? Is water soluble yellow in
the chemical pathway to anthocyanin production (or vice versa) or is it
a separate pathway and just obscures any blue?
<A couple of yellows with very smooth hafts have water soluble yellow as
well as cartenoid yellow. >
