I need everyonebs help on bEye of the Tigerb and other Dutch Irises. When I was working on the SIGNA checklist a few years back I was in communication with the Registrar of the KAVB and his assistant. Communication was difficult because I did not speak Flemish and that was the language in which the registrations were written. Although the registrar and his assistant were trying to be helpful it was difficult. Since I started the online Iris Encyclopedia I seem to have not been able to get through to The KAVB. I had put in a request to use all their official pictures of Dutch registered Irises in the Encyclopedia but have never heard back. I have tried to grow all the available cultivars but it seems I am either out of town when they are at peak bloom or something. I just added a page for bEye of the Tigerb precipitated by this discussion. You can see a list of all the Dutch Irises for which I have a little information under Iris xhollandica, but I have yet to get all th!
ese pages up. If any of you have images or could help with information, I would be delighted to start getting this area of the Encyclopedia more fleshed out. Thanks Bob
