I haven't forgotten - I had to buy a replacement computer and haven't gotten
all it's parts working yet - to save a few bucks I didn't get it with any
software loaded, although they had to put DOS on it to make sure it worked,
so I still have a box of miscellaneous diskettes with mysterious labels on
them related to 'drivers', whatever those are, plus all my old data files and
other software to work on. I don't have any kind of data
management/spreadsheet software so will have to do this with a word processor
and sort function, but first, I have to add dates of introduction.
So....Looking to the future, anybody know if there are standard delimiters
between data fields compatible with most spreadsheet/data management software
(space, comma, tab??) used in importing text files? - not exactly an iris
question but it's for my iris info.
