Dear Julie,

We have the same name and share an interest in iris.  Hope the ones you put
in pots make the move successfully.  It will be interesting to hear from you
in future posts concerning how the iris do in your new location and climate.

Enjoyed your letter of introduction.  Sometimes I am amazed by the will to
live which is demonstrated by iris and other plants (so why do so many of my
expensive new ones commit suicide?)
