Hi folks. I have a few seeds that I don't have room to plant. They
are free to a good home. Reply off-list with your snail mail address
if you're interested.
* Iris stolonifera: a pure aril species (regelia), but one of the more
adaptable ones. Narrow petals are brown on the edges, violet in the
center, and veined. The seeds are difficult to germinate. I have enough
to give a fair number to about 5 people. (These are two years old;
they are the same seeds Anne-Marie used for a rattle. :) )
* Iris lactea: a beardless species from Asia. Wonderful narrow, tough,
dark green foliage is attractive year-round. Delicate light violet-blue
flowers. A very attractive landscape plant. Seeds germinate easily.
I'm not sure how many of these I have, but probably quite a lot.
Happy irising, Tom.
