Linda,
At an 800 word limit it wasn't nearly the good read I'd hoped to makeit.
This article was strictly on garden-related mailing lists. Last week I was
subscribed to 11 of them. Talk about a full mailbox!
And I'm only *hoping* it will actually appear. I proposed a column to
National Gardening on Internet resources--and whileit was in the mail I
got the latest issue only to find that they'd already started one.
However, two weeks ago I got a rather ambiguous letter saying that if I
chose a subject and wrote 800 words I could write a column. It strongly
hinted that they wanted one on mailing lists, so that's what i did.
Maybeif they like that I can do more. But as things are worded, I'm not
sure he was doingmore than giving me permission to write--which I can do
without anyone's ok!
