Re: Iris Thieves

It was Sharon McAllisters Great Pyrenees, I think, for the "DOG"; I dont
have theives, but I have really stupid folks with really stupid kids and
dogs, who think that a freshly planted flower bed is an invitation to walk
all over it, and let the dog wander thru and do its' thing... I actually
was weeding in the yard when a family with a dog and child came by, walked
thru the bed as I stood and watched, and then hollered obsceneties at me
when I asked them to kindly get out of my flower bed. Perhaps if they too
were adicted to irises, we would have less crime and stupidity. They would
be too busy weeding and planting and tending and breeding to have time for
crime and stupidity!!

After leaving the iris setosa seed pods in a plastic bag for a while,
forgetting them, I found them and they are dry and lots of hard brown seeds.
OK, now what? Will these need to be chilled, since in Texas it dont freeze
as much as Alaska does. Just plant and watch for a while? Plant when?

I got a great gardening CD, but it needed a 2X or faster CD rom, mine was
single. So I got a new 8X, but it wont work, and tech support wont call back.
I hate computers almost as much as stupid people. Snivelling, frustrated,
and needing to go weed and water, but having to "work" instead,
