one of the nice things about iris folks is that they accept kids very
readily. Alex has been going to iris meetings -- often more than once a month -
since he was 5 months old!!
AND -- what good role models all the irisarians are for kids. iris are good
for a hobby, for a study of nature, for a study of what do folks do with
their spare time -- it's a great activity for a child, especially a boy
who is very very active -- it's a chance to slow down and delay gratification
Of course, everyone on this LIST already knows all of this !!
Chris H has some boys who are into iris, too, and Cathy B -- it's great!!
