One of Eleanor McCown's main thrusts in her spuria
hybridizing has been to reduce the height. I fell
in love with her Highline Snowflake (cool white
with small yellow signal) the first time I saw
it--the ruffling is so regular it seems to have
been chisled. I later told her that it was by far
my favorite spuria, and she commented that she
thought it was the highlight of her hybridizing career.

If you don't (didn't ?) have it, try to find it.
