..and as a former Mesilla Valley native, Tom can't help but chime in:
The nut sedge was really a problem for some of the iris growers in the
valley--perhaps it doesn't care for your sandy soil up on the mesa.
I remember Ann Wright fought the nut sedge bitterly for years. I don't think
she won.
