Hello Clarence: Thank you for taking the time to write again. I for
one, truly appreciate your knowledge and helpfulness. And, I agree that
names are important - and I honor all that you and others have done in
the past and present. That is why we have the AIS - and I have often
wondered how - thru the mail only - an iris can be identified and/or listed.
I am new to all of this, you know, and I guess I would like to know how
Holland ever got it through the system - if it were not correct?
But, I like the iris flower for a bouquet in my home. It smells great
and it looks pretty - so for tht reason alone I enjoy it.
I have purchased and am growing many of Schreiners Iris - and a few of
Cooley's. Some of these were quite expensive - and I sweat over them and
pray that they will bloom and prosper. I still have not heard from
anyone who grows Jazzed Up on this net - it is an exquisite flower. It
bloomed for me the very first year - but not since.
Thanks again, Clarence Donna Region 13
