Barbara, that one almost zoomed past me. Don't tell us you are into cats
as well?

little gifts in the garden before David did.

Hi, Nancy, yes, it's an iris garden surrounding a managerie of 6 cats, a dog,
a bunch of bunnies, a handful of chickens, and a fishpond. The cats (she
said, mightily trying to stay on topic) have provided me with about two tons
of used kitty litter (screened!) which forms my garden paths. Otherwise I
wouldn't be able to get into the garden when it rains, as the soil turns into
adobe mud at the hint of moisture. I also used to try cat poop as a rabbit
deterrent years ago, but then I found that planting sacrificial tulips keeps
the iris safer. They smell better, too.
