Great Caesar's Ghost! This staunch advocate of free speech certainly didn't
want  to censor any topics. I was getting the impression that topics such
as genetics were out of bounds suddenly. Certainly I would not have wanted
to miss Griff Crump's version of the Scotch-Irish prayer.

Having said that, I think that common courtesy should decide whether or not
some messages get posted to the list. Celebrating a new QB is great but why
not celebrate with a private message to the editor. The volume of messages
is high and included in there will be some business messages. I don't know
about you but with me, when I start using the delete key heavily there is a
danger that some important stuff will get dumped. It would really help if
you asked "is this of interest to everyone?" before addressing it.
