Re: Newby question.

     The Iris with the filaments on the beard area might be one of those
Space Age Types.  These have hooks, horns, spoons, flounces, or other
modifications to the beards.  If this is the case, it is a true Iris,
however I don't know the name of the variety since there are now many of
these.
