I have about 75 potted in 4" pots resting in the shade. Some
already have roots growing out the drainage holes. I have to move the
pots around periodically to keep the roots from anchoring in the ground.
I used to use the 8" pots but found out the smaller ones worked just as
well and you don't have to dig a big hole when you finally plant them in
their blooming location.
