seed pods, SIB's, guessing!

Hi all.

I am making a blanket reply to a few messages I'd like to reply to, but
I'll try to stay to the topics I listed.

Ann,  maybe you and I should form an "our baby irises were murdered"
club!  Anyone else have stories about would-be successful crosses that
were knocked off, disfigured, maimed, etc?

In regards to the Beardless Irises questions: (which I skimmed thru)  I
personally did NOT soak my Siberians in clorox-water.  Kathy told me to
get those suckers planted ASAP, so I did.  I put the pots in a big tub,
which I filled up with water.  Two of the pots are approximately 8" and
one is 6".  They just barely all fit in the tub.  I didn't plant one
clump deep enough; the leaves are all falling over.

And, finally, someone said to please NOT guess the name of an iris that
I intend to sell.  If any of you are still reading my posts <g>, you
realize that was directed at me.  Well, for the record, my parents have
a list (with descriptions) of every iris they ever owned. (Including the
$2500 worth stolen)  It may be possible to determine whether or not
Dusky Dancer is what we have based on Descriptions, pictures in the old
Schreiner's catalogs.  If I can't determine what it is, then I won't
sell it as Dusky Dancer.  I promise.  And in the future, if we have
gripes, complaints, or warnings for one person, or in response to ONE
person, let's please send it to that ONE person.  (That goes for me
too!)
