Bernice Miller used some of the older varieties in her quest for
high bud count, etc. I never got to purchase her ELECT LADY, which is
her crowning glory although not of an historical background per se.
Anybody have ELECT LADY? She was going to send it to me but has been
in failing health since she fell at the Fort Worth Convention in 1993;
therefore, I never got it. I have never seen it listed in any of the
catalogs and lists I receive.
Bernice is convinced FRANK ADAMS holds the key for unlocking
the red gene.
