I'm sure it does take some imagination to come
up with new names, considering how many
varieties have already been registered.
Two irises that I can think of that are beautiful,
but have some "occultic" and "doomsday" flavor
to their names are WITCHES WAND and
ARMAGEDDON. I'm not real crazy about their
names, but want to grow them anyway.
And a few years down the road, they will be
planted in the garden of our new home off
Purgatory Road. ;-)
