I don't know exactly how to explain this, but at the back of the rhizome
right behind the fan is a favorite hangout for rot. All of the irises
you sent me were clorox bathed and trimmed today, and only one out of 5
had rot, and 3 had it right there. (One out of 5 was the norm for both
yours and Dana's... so please don't take offense. And the rot wasn't
bad. For the most part.
