The following Iris are blooming today in our zone 5 field. I believe all of
these are true second bloom for this year.
A couple of things of interest. It seems like most of the sporadic
rebloomers are doing it this year, ie Best Bet & High Wire.
Also, it seems that the rebloom is quite a bit earlier than it has been in
previous years. Our current temperatures are normal for the season but our
summer temperatures were low throughout the season. Does this mean that
temperature is the trigger rather than change in day length?
