To Jeff and Carolyn Walters
I loved your essay. That exactly the sort of play on iris names I
contemplate. My good iris growing friend, Hillary, had me in stitches last
night with her compostition that actually had one or two of your "players"
included. She has a great mind and as they say "great minds think alike".
Mind you, our other friends had no idea what we found so amusing and
thought we had both lost the plot. Then they caught on and the evening took
a turn for the worse or should I say the content took a turn for the worse
and we all collapsed with laughter.
