The AIS Youth Committee wishes to acknowledge and applaud the Region 20
Convention Committee - High Country Iris, Elmohr Iris Society, Loomis Iris
Society and the Northern Colorado Iris Club for the splendid gift to the
AIS Youth. After all the orders were filled, the Committee shared the
extras with the Youth (300+ of them) by mailing iris to each name provided
by Jean Morris, Youth Chairman. It was a time-consuming and costly project
and we are so pleased that you did this. We try each year to send the
Youth a new iris to this fast-growing section of AIS membership and believe
our efforts will reap future rewards as many of our current noted AIS
members (such as Tom Tadfor Little and Perry Dyer) were AIS Youth members.
Region 20 is hereby awarded "AIS Youth Fan" of the Month! Thanks from
us and all the Youth to the Committee and especially to Randy Penn for
making this possible.
Also, there are plenty of AIS Youth Youth Fundraiser 1998 T-shirts
available. See April 98 Bulletin pages 18 and 19 or E-mail me privately
for details.
