I would also like to thank the High Country Iris, Elmohr Iris Society, Loomis
Iris Society and the Northern Colorado Iris Club for their efforts in sending
out gift iris to AIS Youth Members.
My daughter, Kira, who is ten received her iris yesterday. It was Champagne
Lady (Lyons '95). She was sooooooooooo excited that she called me at work to
tell me about it. It's wonderful how a small, unexpected gift can lift your
spirits.
Since the grasshoppers are attacking all my new irises we decided to trim the
roots and put it in a pot. Seemed like a good time to try this method!
