Thanks to everyone for the Afternoon Delight information. Mine certainly
matches the description but seems to be paler than the pictures (I might
add here that I am going by my own photo as we are currently in the middle
of winter and I do not have the flower here with me).
The one thing I REALLY remember about the iris (and it is definitely
evident in my photos) is teh extremely tight ruffling. Reminds me greatly
of Perils of Pauline with the really fine tight ruffling all round the edge.
Does this fit with everyone's knowledge of Afternoon Delight?
Thanks again Peoples.
Paul Tyerman (Australia... cold and wet! Yeck! Damn hard to run a Garden
Maintenance business when it's raining all the time.... Yeah! I know I was
complaining about the drought in March/April. I don't really mind the rain
at all, it's my hip pocket that really hates it. I much prefer rainy
weather... but there's a mortgage, car repayments..... etc. Sigh!)
