If any of you plan on being in the Leesburg, VA area on Tuesday
morning, you may want to check this out (unfortunately, I will be
downtown).
Iris culture is the topic of the Loudoun County Master Gardeners'
next "Tuesdays in the Garden" event. At 9 AM weather permitting,
learn soil preparation; how to fend off disease, weeds, and
insects; and how to lift and divide the flowers. Ida Lee Park
demonstration garden, 50 Ida Lee Dr., Leesburg. Free. 703 771
5150.
If anyone wants directions, mail me privately, and I will pull
out the mapbook and make them up for you. All you gotta do is
let us know how it was.
