Doesn't happen offen, but someplace between my home and the ISP
the phone lines are above ground and it happens during high
winds.

I've had some awefull slow transfers, figure it's line noise here
or the heat.

Not realy, I've got 3 phone numbers I can connect with, one of
them has to be open sometime or another.
