Hi Donald!
There's no better guide to culture than the plants themselves. If they're
greening up, they're ready to grow! The only complication is if you have a
lot of plants in the same bed that have not broken dormancy yet. If that is
the case, you might want to go easy on the water.
Also, are the plants arils or arilbreds? There's a big difference in
culture. Most arilbreds do not go fully dormant during the summer, so they
like water reduced but not withheld completely. The pure arils are much
more sensitive.
