No, but we have a minor bed containing three Siberians, two SDBs,
allium, hardy geraniums, etc. lining one side of our driveway that
is gravel. Everything grows and flowers well and the only bearded
irises *without* leaf spot are those two that have bountiful
increases. The Siberians are mulched with pine needles since it is
a sloping driveway. We weren't even sure that the plants would
survive let alone do so well. I planted that bed in June 1995.
We are definitely going to get some gravel for part of our new garden
for comparative purposes. Also, the weeds are less invasive which is
a big plus.
