Re: Future trends in colours
From: Christa Royer <croyer@fastrans.net>
Heather, there is a woman in N.Y.,MS.something Popcorn, who is a trends
guru, consulted by various manufacturers about color among other
things so they will be able to anticipate public demand. It is also a
way of increasing sales, there are a lot of people who must be first
with any new trend. And there are a lot who don't know what they want
until they are told what they should have.
Personaly I like the various shades of purple and orange in my garden,
but I don't like them to dominate.
I am also not greatly impressed with many of the genericly manipulated
plants that are coming to the marketplace. One of my dislikes is the
double lillium. It does not seem nearly as graceful as the single when
gentley swaying in a breeze. IMHO :(
