I agree with Walter about refrigerating.  I don't do it.  I also take pods
when they are yellow but not dry.  I have a rule that works for me in South
Louisiana:  take the seed on the Fourth of July.  Raise the flag, drink a
beer, shuck the pods, and plant immediately.
