Re: Epidendrum Orchid "pups"

From: Tmilchh@aol.com

     Dear Bill,
The Epidendrum Orchid "pups" arrived. I sent you 2 boxes (one
addressed to me and one addressed to a friend of mine from the Central
Kentucky Orchid Soceity) inside an envelope. My friend called me today to tell
me that her's had arrived and to tell me what a lovely plant it was and how
healthy, etc. She potted hers immediately and wanted me to tell you.
She wanted to know if they are hybrids and if so what the cross
is.
You discribed them as a cluster of yellow-orange 1/2 " flowers on
a long stem.
Mine arrived and it is about 6 " in height with a large number of 3
" roots. Very healthy. I potted it in a 6 " pot with rocks on the bottom and
orchid mix above that and set it on a bed of rocks and watered it well. Hope
it blooms within a year and a half.
"Feedback" ( Reblooming TB Iris) has a stalk with 2 buds about to
open in a day or two, and more to follow if I am lucky. Thanks to Mark Cook.
          We need rain.
"Iris-Talk" is sure fun and even pay's off sometimes with plants.
