Plant your new rzs with diazinon in the soil. You have to wait till next
spring and spray with cygon. Sounds yucky and it is but it is the only way.
My problem was witha wet spring i sprayed and then it would rain and wash off.
I saw no tunneling in the leaves as people usually do but did find some mushy
rzs that had been eaten.
2 years ago I found borer and plowed them all under and those little darlin's
are valliantly coming back. I think I am also finding grubs which are
Japenese beetle larvae in my ground so have to have my husband do the lawn.
