I do not agree with this at all. while I don't have wide open
spaces around this trailer, I have used roundup to kill off the
grass roots that go down 2ft or more and are impossible to dig
up.
Plus be glad you don't have tumble weeds, you pull them up and
let them dryout, you'll have millions of seeds being dropped in
your area and you do NOT want them in your compost pile, as
they'll burn if they get to hot.
There are times and places when the use of stuff like roundup is
called for, and during the 15 years of running my lawn service
back in the 70's/80's, I used them when the need came up.
