Because of limited space for making a dump,(they just closed
down one in the area), they mostly will not take green stuff and
tumbleweeds are 100% Never allowed in the dumps. We cut them off
at ground level and dump them in the empty field and let them
head off to Ewards AFB ;]
I have a small compost pile going, about 6 x 6 but it's very
slow as the summer heat drys it out most of the timt of the
time, so I have to water it everyday.
