I hope someone can shed some light on this for me. Redbud Lane sent
the spuria PHOEBE in our club package. When I was preparing a description
list for the auction, the only PHOEBE I could find was registered a TB in the 30's
or 40's checklists. I called Melody WIlhoit, who indicated that she was aware, but
had gotten the plant from ROger Nelson, and that it was a very good plant.
So......what is the origin of this one? Has it been registered as something else?
