I went back to the Mallorn Archives for a post I made on 8/8/97 for 
the following information on patented irises.

From Lloyd Austin"s Iris Color Guidebook of 1963, the patented irises 
are:

Amethyst Flame . . . . . . . . Schreiner's  . . . . . . .1958

Bronze Bell  . . . . . . . . . . . Schreiner's . . . . . . . 1957

Giant Rose . . . . . . . . . . . .Schreiner's. . . . . . . . 1959

Rococo . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Schreiner's. . . . . . . . 1960

Trim . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .McKee . . . . . . . . . . .1956
