RE: SPEC: I. verna

Dennis,

I found this description in Kohlein's book ...

"each seed has a white aril similar to a crest."

I haven't raised any arils or arilbreds from seed. How does this compare?

I heard that seeds of I. verna have an aril collar on them. Is this
anything like the oncocyclus or regelia iris seeds? Could they be
closely related???
