Debbie Rairdon was Mrs. Kuntz's first and last attempt at hybridization.
DR was  the best and last to bloom  of 20 seedlings which were all
supposedly a muddy pink and promptly thrown away.  

The article at the CIS web site mentions that Mrs. Noyd paid Mrs. Kuntz
$150.00 cash along with about $150.00 in iris in exchange for
distribution rights.  Had  she taken a percentage , she would have made
a lot more money out of it.
