HYB: producers of pinks

Dear teachers,
In my early days on this list, someone -- I think it was Walter --
advised me to consider using yellows as parents, since pinks came
from yellows. In my research since, I've found several yellows
listed as parents of pinks.
There are some whites -- all pod parents I think -- also listed as
parents of pinks. So I plan to use both whites and yellows in my '02
hybridizing and will report on the results.
