Re: CULT: Suberization - more


After reading a bit more, it sounds like plants are capable of
producing/depositing suberin in the walls of cells that are no longer
growing (I found an example given of suberin layers deposited in cells
of root tips at the end of the growing season).

Walter, you probably didn't want to know all that, but your question
made me curious, so I had to share...
