One of the historic irises that I grow that has always impressed me for its
broad form for its era is VIOLET HARMONY (Lowry, '48R, DM-'57). Its
parentage is SNOW FLURRY X CLOUD CASTLE. I am not sure how extensively it
has influenced modern pedigrees, though I do know it appears a couple of
times in the ancestry of VICTORIA FALLS.
