Or finishing planting the last potted iris stragglers. You
know those held back for the new bed, a few late arrivals,
some being released from iris ICU and those inevitable
potted scraps left from digging clumps earlier. A 70F day
to plant after working on finishing the bed in cooler
weather sure was nice! Texas can be unbearable in the
summer months, but our winters have a lot of nice days
interspersed with other cooler days.
