I, too, enjoyed your comments, Neil.  It reminded me that while digging for
family roots (the other kind of digging that I do) in Bourbon County, I
found irises still growing on some of the graves in a long abandoned
cemetery near Hingston Creek, the eastern edge of the Bluegrass.  --  Griff
