RE: HYB: Seed starting

Sorry, here is how it goes
1. fill the square containers mushrooms come in with perlite
2. soak the perlite over night with water
3. pour off the extra water
4. plant the seeds about 1/2 an inch deep
5. wrap a vegetable bag from the grocery store around the planted, labeled
seedlings and secure with a rubber band
6. place them on a shelf out of sunlight for 30 days
7. then into the fridge for 30 days and so on
8. once the seeds sprout, I tickle them out of the perlite and plant them
into potting soil in the greenhouse

Congratulations, Dana. Would you please tell us how you handled the
germinants? Are these seeds planted in pots with the soaked perlite, or
is the soaked perlite loose in plastic bags. Did you remove the
germinants before putting the rest of the perlite & seeds into the fridge
for their first chill cycle?

Curious minds want to know.
