Thanks Lloyd.
Yes, I would say (!) you have made some contributions! <g> Can hardly
wait to see that blue-bearded white.
Most Byers babies don't do too well here, so I decided to make some
IMMORTALITY kids of my own..Most of my IMM babies are from crosses with
recent Schreiner top award winners, a few other odds & ends. Nearly
all have been crosses with bicolors/bitones. Next spring will be the
first chance to cross any of these step siblings.
I think a lot of us share your iris dreams of more/healthier/reliable
reblooming reds, oranges, & pinks. Let's hope it doesn't take another
50 yrs!
Too busy having iris dreams to hibernate yet...

<7. Linda, the suggestion to Patrick to cross back to Immortality was
to a) increase the rebloom potential and b) cut down the time to achieve
remontancy. Probably any good rebloomer would do this. Immortality kids
may make good crosses with the 4 IMM seedlings introduced by Monty
Byars..Zurich, Silver Screen and 2 others whose names escape me, If
possible you might also try them with Vanity or any of her crosses ( eg
Vanity X Jean Guymer).
8. Iris Dreams? I've been living them for over 50 years. I think I
achieved a lot in the blue, violet and white
categories. And this
year I think I have a true, blue bearded, white
rebloomer ready to
introduce. l now would like to see progress made in
the pink, red,
orange colorations.
Everyone, enjoy your hibernation period >
